LAUFEN and DURAVIT toilet seats: replacement seats for collections and older ranges
This section brings replacement seats for LAUFEN and DURAVIT sanitaryware together in one catalogue route. They remain two separate brands, each with its own collections and seat designs. Sharing a catalogue section does not mean that seats are interchangeable. Choose by the exact WC range and check its shape, fixing points and version.
LAUFEN ranges, from established models to newer collections
The selection includes Arolla, Capella, Lyra Plus, Mimo, Palomba, Regina, Pro and Vienna, as well as older models such as Dino, Fenix and Gallery. Options vary by range. Arolla has dedicated Duroplast seats, including a soft-close version; Lyra Plus has dedicated Duroplast alternatives with or without soft close; Capella also has covered-wood seats and a Champagne colour option. Regina listings show further differences in materials and finishes, including economical, covered-wood, Champagne and soft-close versions. These details apply to particular replacement seats, not every LAUFEN WC.
DURAVIT ranges: Starck, D-Code and more
Starck 1, Starck 2 and Starck 3 must be identified separately. Starck 1 has a distinctly round profile; Starck 2 is D-shaped with a characteristic rear contour; Starck 3 has a simpler outline. Their different shapes mean that a seat cannot be selected by designer name or visual similarity alone. Dedicated replacements are available in different materials and versions: Starck 1 also in covered wood, Starck 2 in Duroplast and with soft-close options, and Starck 3 in thermoset material and as an original part. D-Code and D-Code Vital, Duraplus, Happy D and Happy D.2 also require the exact version to be checked.
Original, dedicated and compatible replacements
An original seat is sold for the specific range by the sanitaryware manufacturer. A dedicated replacement is shaped for a particular WC, though it may be made by another manufacturer. Compatible or economy options offer alternatives for some models. Materials, hinges, colour and soft-close operation vary by item. Check the individual product details for soft close, stainless-steel hinges or matt finishes; these features do not apply to every range.
Finding the right replacement
The brand and measurements alone are not enough: the range, WC version and fixing position matter. If you know the model, open its page in the grid above and check the replacement details. If you are unsure, use the toilet-seat identification service to identify the WC before ordering.
Do Starck 1, 2 and 3 use the same seat? No. Their shapes and replacement seats differ.
Will a universal seat fit? The brand alone cannot confirm this. Check the range and the stated compatibility.
