2. Data processed and purposes

To operate and secure the website, technical data such as IP address, browser and device data, request date and time and technical logs may be processed. The legal basis is the controller’s legitimate interest in security and correct operation of the service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Words entered in the site search are used only in the visitor’s browser to filter content and are neither transmitted nor stored. Questions entered in “Ask SintesiBagno!” are processed locally in the browser to display guidance and the identification-service link; they are not sent to SintesiBagno or stored by the site. The optional voice function is provided by the browser or operating system; SintesiBagno does not record or retain audio through this site.

Data sent by e-mail are processed to answer requests and manage pre-contractual or contractual relations. External links, including to sintesibagno.shop, open independent services governed by their own privacy and cookie notices.

3. Vimeo videos

Some pages embed Vimeo videos with dnt=1 enabled. Vimeo may receive technical data necessary to play the video, including IP address and browser information, and essential player cookies may operate. See Vimeo Privacy and Vimeo Player Cookies.

4. Cookies and tracking

As of this update, the site does not use profiling or advertising cookies, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel or equivalent behavioural-tracking tools. Cloudflare may set the technical security cookie __cf_bm for about 30 minutes. Technical cookies do not require prior consent. No cookie banner is currently required because only technical tools are used and Vimeo DNT is active.

5. Recipients, retention and rights

Data may be processed by technical providers for hosting, distribution and security, including ChatGPT Sites, Cloudflare and, when a video is loaded, Vimeo. Providers may process data outside the EEA under their applicable safeguards. SintesiBagno does not sell personal data. Technical data are retained only as long as necessary for security and operation; e-mail data are retained for the time needed to handle the request and any legal obligations.

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability where applicable, or object to processing based on legitimate interest. You may also lodge a complaint with the relevant data-protection authority. This notice will be updated if the site’s functions or applicable law change.
