Replacement toilet seats for JUMBO 2 sanitaryware, also listed as JUMBO in product specifications, cover nine ranges: Aretha, Arethona, Esatonda, Punto, Renoire, Silhouette, Simpaty, Tipo and Tua. Aretha and Arethona: identify each range separately
Aretha has white, purpose-made Plus Quality Urea-Duroplast seats with stainless steel hinges, available with standard closing or Soft Close. Stainless steel hinges alone do not indicate a soft closing mechanism; the selected variant must explicitly specify it.
For Arethona, the purpose-made Plus Quality Duroplast options, standard and Soft Close, are joined by a Top Quality polyester resin-coated wood seat with chrome-plated brass hinges. An economical miADATTO alternative uses lacquered MDF and chrome-plated metal alloy hinges.
These options differ in construction, coating, hardware and closing action. Aretha and Arethona have separate replacement listings: their similar names do not establish interchangeability.
Esatonda, Renoire and Silhouette: coated wood seats
Esatonda has a white, purpose-made Top Quality polyester resin-coated wood replacement with chrome-plated brass hinges. A wood core coated with resin should be distinguished from the lacquered MDF construction of compatible alternatives.
Renoire and Silhouette also have Top Quality purpose-made seats in polyester resin-coated wood. Their specifications state metal hinges; this does not establish either chrome-plated brass or Soft Close. Each seat belongs to its own toilet range, despite sharing the same broad material description.
Punto, Simpaty, Tipo and Tua: compatible replacements
The white Punto replacement is from the economical Smile line, made from urea formaldehyde with stainless steel hinges. Although the commercial title calls it purpose-made, its technical specification classifies it as compatible. This distinction matters when comparing replacements.
Simpaty, Tipo and Tua have white E-Business compatible seats in lacquered polyester-coated MDF, with chrome-plated metal alloy hinges. Consult the section for your exact model: matching material descriptions do not mean matching shapes, supports or fixings.
Compare material, hinge type and colour
Top Quality, Plus Quality, E-Business, Smile and miADATTO describe different products in this selection. Read these labels together with the replacement classification and individual specifications. Purpose-made, compatible and adaptable do not automatically mean an original JUMBO-manufactured seat.
The variants shown here are white. A coloured toilet requires a separate check for a replacement in the correct shade. The documented Soft Close options in this selection are the Aretha and Arethona Duroplast versions; the feature should not be assumed across the entire range.
