ESEDRA replacements include original, dedicated and “like the original” seats, plus a compatible option for Handy. Duroplast predominates, but lids, hinges, finishes and closing mechanisms vary. Bull and Bull 500: check the exact version
Bull includes a white original Duroplast seat with stainless-steel hinges and dedicated white Plus Quality urea-Duroplast alternatives with standard or Soft Close hinges. The standard dedicated product specifies Bull, close-coupled Bull and wall-hung Bull. Do not extend this designation to Bull 500, listed separately with a dedicated white Duroplast seat, stainless-steel hinges and wrap-over lid. The name Bull alone is insufficient.
Ese and Ever: matt finishes and different constructions
Ese has dedicated Plus Quality urea-Duroplast replacements with stainless-steel hinges: standard white, Soft Close white, matt white and matt black Soft Close. Matt and glossy finishes must be distinguished; photographs cannot guarantee a ceramic colour match.
Ever also offers Plus Quality urea-Duroplast dedicated seats with standard or soft closing, including matt white and matt black Soft Close. Another white dedicated Replay Duroplast option has a wrap-over lid and nylon/stainless-steel Soft Close hinges. Products titled Ever Soft Close can therefore have different constructions. Fly, Poing and Key: similar material, different categories
Dedicated white seats for Fly and Poing specify thermosetting Duroplast, stainless-steel hinges and wrap-over lids. Read “plastic resin” in the title together with the detailed material specification. The white Duroplast replacement for Key, with stainless-steel hinges, is classified “like the original”, which does not mean an original ESEDRA-branded product. Each collection still requires its own shape and fixing arrangement.
Quadra: standard or Soft Close
Quadra has a dedicated white Duroplast replacement with stainless-steel hinges and a white Plus Quality urea-Duroplast dedicated Soft Close option. Steel hinges alone do not imply damping. Check the specific replacement version as well as the collection name.
Handy and the accessible-toilet section
The accessible-toilet section concerns Handy. Its compatible white replacement uses lacquered polyester-treated MDF and chrome-plated metal-alloy hinges, classified E-Business. This construction differs from the other collections’ Duroplast seats. The Handy designation does not mean universal suitability for accessible toilets.
